"GOWN" BUT NOT FORGOTTEN - A TRIBUTE TO AN ICONIC DOWNTOWN FAIRHOPE BUSINESS

As a local real estate agent, I love getting the inside scoop on all of the new developments in the works in my small home town. Fairhope, Alabama is growing at a rapid rate and being knowledgeable of everything going on is key in helping my clients make the best decision for their investment, or most importantly, for their family when choosing a home to live in! It’s such a passion of mine to be able to help people find that perfect property! I dug deep at the start of the new year and really wanted to figure out a way to merge my two worlds and passions of real estate and fashion for the blog and decided to just dive right in with fashion shoots at places of importance to me. What better way to feature a look, but in an old historic building stripped of all of it’s current existence, with all of the layers of the past seeping through, and at the beginning stages of a major face lift. There’s something so raw and real about all of those exposed layers showing through, like glimpses into that building’s past life! Since Mardi Gras is right around the corner and such a huge part of our history, I felt it only fitting to wear a gown to kick off the Mardi Gras Season!
