My husband got a “wild hair” and decided he’d like for us to take a last minute spontaneous trip to Chicago. After much arguing about how we didn’t need to go anywhere and that we just got back from Europe, I eventually said ok, why not. So we hopped on a plane and headed to the Windy City. I am so the over-analyzer when it comes to trips to the point where they’re not even fun anymore. I am so glad David took over the planning for this one (with a few suggestions thrown in there by me). So far, it’s been so nice. The weather has been great and we have walked and eaten our way through the city. I had to get to Ema the very minute we arrived yesterday. If you haven’t tried Ema, put it on your list. The spreads are to die for and pretty much everything else on the menu. It’s Mediterranean flair will have your tastebuds dancing. Checkout their website HERE. I’ve pretty much worn leopard print the entire time I have been in Chicago….guess I’m going wild…Speaking of going wild….For lunch today we went to Little Goat Diner. Again, I went a little wild with my lunch choice. I’m a fairly healthy eater, aside from my sweet tooth, so when I told the waitress that I’ll have a Patty Melt, my husband had to make me repeat it. On top of that, we even had this killer desert called the twisted sundae! GOING WILD AND CRAZY I TELL YA!
Back to the outfit……I found this skirt on Nordstrom and it’s by TOPSHOP. I love this brand because it’s trendy and affordable, and the quality is great!
I added the Beret for a Parisian Vibe. This bootie will be on repeat this Fall! It’s comfy, goes with just about everything from jeans to dresses, and the best part is, they were only $99. HOLLA.
I hope you loved this look and would love to hear in the comments your favorite thing about it!
