12 DAYS OF HOLIDAY LOOKS - FOR SOME HOLIDAY STYLE INSPIRATION
It’s the most wonderful time of the year……(cue all the classic Christmas music please!) I’m putting together 12 days of Holiday looks that you can wear to any of those upcoming events you’ve been invited to. Sure, you can always wear that LBD as a classic go to for any and all events, but why be BASIC, when you can add a little color and sparkle like these looks that will give that LBD a run for its money and have you looking all kinds of festive! And for the Holidays, I like to remember my girl Iris Apfel’s quote…“more is more and less is a bore!” So, gimme all the sparkle, shine, and rich/luxe colors and textures!
Sequins and Velvet
I love sequins on any day, but love them even more for a holiday festive look! And if you still have not realized it by now, I’m obsessed with any top with a puff sleeves (hello eighties prom dress….I think totally missed my Fashion Era).
I paired this top with a (what should be by now vintage) Milly NY skirt. This was one of my first Milly purchases from back in the day and these are the things I stress to everyone to splurge on if you can. I’ve had it for 12+ years and it still looks as good as the day I bought it. It has ruffling up the middle that just makes it that much more special! I purchased it with the matching Velvet Ruffle Front Jacket that I have worn the heck out of over the years and still remains in my winter closet to this day! Check out Milly’s pieces this Season HERE! You will see that each piece is absolutely fabulous with all the extra luxe details worth your splurge dollars!!
Silver Metallic Foil
Lace and Velvet
Sequins to dress up your Denim
Black Velvet and Crystal Details
Rainbow Velvet & Red Faux Fur
Pink Metallic Foil
I’m loving the foil trend for this holiday season and there are so many colors to choose from!
This gold sequin dress from Jay Godfrey is perfect for a fun holiday party, and how great would it be for ringing in the New Year!? I love how easy it is to slip on (it literally goes on like a t shirt dress).
I loved dressing it down with a pair of white booties!
The back of it is cowled, baring a little skin, but nothing too over the top!
Last, but not least, I’m ending the 12 Days of Holiday Looks with one of my favorite brands from one of my favorite bloggers, and with shots taken with my favorite man! This silk dress has lots of ruching around the waste and on the sleeves. The color is a deep navy and I love that I can dress it up for a cocktail event and add some bling with jewelry and accessories, or tone it down and wear to Christmas Eve church service, or really any church service. (I like to dress up for Sunday church). Arielle Charnas has to be my absolute favorite blogger, and one I have followed since blogging became a thing and before I even had an inkling of a thought I might get into the whole blogging world. She is a total boss babe and has built Something Navy into a brand one can only dream about. All of the pieces in the line have incredible detail that make each item special and unique and the quality is top notch! And did I mention the price point is fabulous?! It’s exclusive to Nordstrom, and you can find other pieces from her line HERE!
And that’s a wrap on the 12 Days of Holiday Looks Roundup! I hope you enjoyed each look and they inspire you for your next holiday soiree or cocktail event! Stop by again soon for more style inspiration!
